Syrian film , television, and theater icon Rafiq Sebaie - best known to audiences in Syria and the Arab world as Abu Sayyah after one of his long-standing roles - has died at the age of 86 on Thursday 5/1/2017. Sebaie , who was awarded "Actor Of The People" title , died of natural causes . He often cast in tough-guy roles, and rose to fame in the 60s and the 70s .
