A 23-year-old Adelaide woman has been found guilty of membership of the I-S terror group.

A Supreme Court jury has remanded Zainab Abdelrahman-Khalif in custody for sentencing at a later date.

Ms Abdelrahman-Khalif was detained in July 2016 attempting to catch a one-way flight from Adelaide to Turkey with just carry-on luggage and 170 dollars.

Prosecutors argued that amount of money were not enough for her to return home.
