There are report that about 50 people fell sick due to a severe food poisoning in Manus Detention Center. Symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting have been reported almost a day after they consumed meat at dinner time.


Aziz Adam said the authorities advised them that they need to wash their hands before consuming food to prevent sickness.

He also said people were so surprised by the comments of immigration minister Peter Dutton when he referred to the refugees as economic migrants wearing Aramani jeans.
