National Australia Day Council Chairman Ben Roberts-Smith VC MG visited the culturally diverse community of Bankstown in Sydneys southwest on Sunday 17 January to launch Australia Day with a call for mutual respect and understanding this Australia Day. Representatives of cultures across Sydney took part in the visit, joining together to showcase the diversity and unity of Australian society.
