Overall Australian foreign aid is on target to hit its lowest level ever after the 2018-19 federal Budget, although the Pacific will see some gains over fears of Chinese influence in the region.
With Australian aid now projected to hit an all time low in three years' time, international development bodies say Australia will soon become one of the world's lowest aid contributors in terms of overall income.
