News bulletin in Arabic for the morning

Opposition leader Bill Shorten says he feels for the unwell children of an Australian woman who travelled to fight for Islamic State.

Zehra Duman left Melbourne for Syria where she married an Australian Islamic State fighter, who has since been killed.

Speaking to the A-B-C from a Syrian refugee camp the 24-year-old says she wants to come home to Australia with her children.

Mr Shorten says while he wants to ensure the children get to safety, he has no sympathy for the parents.
