Oxfam Australia is urging major Australian retailers - who profit from selling school uniforms - to provide higher wages to the women who make the clothes in developing countries. The group's Labour Rights spokeswoman Joy Kyriacou says most garment makers across Asia are paid less than a dollar an hour. She says retail groups need to make a clear choice for change.
