Coptics under attacks on Palm Sunday

Egypt has declared a three month state of emergency following two deadly bomb attacks on Coptic Christians which have left more than 40 people dead. The self proclaimed Islamic State group says its militants had targetted worshippers celebrating Palm Sunday. Pope Francis, who is due to visit Egypt later this month condemned the attacks. An explosion at St George's Coptic church in Tanta,north of Cairo, killed 29 people. Hours later, a blast outside St Mark's Coptic church in Alexandria left 16 dead.
