Criminals will not benefit from selling their story

What do you know about criminal laws?


In 2002, Australia created a law to confiscate any income generated from crimes, in order to prevent criminals from making use of their crimes after being found guilty.

Under this law the crime commission can confiscate any properties and money owned by criminals including selling their memoranda to the media.

Good Morning Australia met with lawyer Hashim Husseini to tell us more about these laws.
