Dalal Smiley's fight for equality and social inclusion earns her an honorary Doctorate

After 35 years of fighting for diversity, social inclusion and equality for all, Dalal Smileys hard work was recognised by Deakin University with an honorary Doctorate.This month marks the 40th anniversary of Dalals arrival to Australia from war-torn Lebanon. Dalal is the Chief Operations Officer with the Australian Muslim Womens Centre for Human Rights. In this interview we speak to her about her past and current work.
