A report by the World Health Organisation and the World Bank has found that almost one billion people in the globe are persons with some form of special needs.This is 1 in 7 people of the planet.

A report by the World Health Organisation and the World Bank has found that almost one billion people in the globe are persons with some form of special needs.This is 1 in 7 people of the planet.


The report, a first of its kind, was released on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2016.It found that people with disabilities have generally poorer health, lower education achievements, fewer economic opportunities and higher rates of poverty than people without disabilities.The report also found that there is a lack of services for people with disabilities in most countries which puts more strain on their daily lives.What do our listeners think of those facts and what are their suggestions?Listen to this audio for more.
