Coalition M-Ps have thrown their support behind Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull's new drought relief package. The funding, as part of the new $190 million drought relief measure, will provide up to $12,000 extra for farmers in drought-affected areas but some say the new grants are inadequate and government aid came in a little too late. Marcel Gitani, a farmer affected by severe drought speaks about the ordeal and how it is affecting farmers in NSW in this interview with Good Morning Australia.
