Australia Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALCCI) held a seminar titled: Economic outlook in the Middle East and Lebanon. The keynote speaker was Mr Raed H. Charafeddine, First Vice-Governor, Banque Du Liban. The seminar discussed contemporary issues including: Lebanon Economy insight, forecast and analysis MENAs Oil prices, opportunities and challenges, Middle East turbulent transitions and Economic prospects. Iman Riman spoke to Mr Charafeddine and asked him about the role of the Central Bank of Lebanon in consolidating the economy and preventing illegal activities such as money laundering and financing terrorism.
