Egyptian film screening at ACMI

Ali Goat Ibrahim

Ali, the goat and Ibrahim Source: Kapitalis

The Urban Pharaoh Association in Melbourne is organising a film screening at ACMI in Melbourne as part of its cultural project that aims at screening a film every three months to enhance intercultural and community relations. We speak with Reham Maklad from the association.

The story line of the film:

Ali loves a goat called Nada and Ibrahim hears voices from another world. Both young men are misunderstood and marginalized. Together, they embark on a journey that takes them around Egypt only to discover, through their strong friendship, that their ailment is in fact their strength.
