Extreme heat wave hits the country

News bulletin in Arabic for the day


Extreme heatwave conditions are expected to continue across the country, with temperatures expected to stay around 40 degrees Celsius in some regions. 

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting daytime temperatures of 12 degrees Celsius above average and at night are expected to be at least ten degrees warmer. 

Bureau Manager Jane Golding says a low pressure system is the cause of the heat.
