An eyewitness from Manus detention centre talks describes the latest violence which erupted last Friday evening while detainees were playing soccer in the oval that belongs to the navy base near the centre. Refugee advocates are calling for detainees from the Australian-funded immigration processing centre on Papua New Guinea to immediately be brought to Australia after violence erupted onFriday April 15.

The Australian government says monitoring is in place, after shots were fired at the Manus Island facility.
