Famous Australian Iraqi musician dies at 75

Iraq-born Australian musician Abdel Hussein Elsemawi died on Sunday in Sydney at the age of 75.


Mr. Elsemawi is well known for his music that contributed to the spread of more than 200 Arabic songs.

The musician died of a chronic disease that left him paralyzed until he died yesterday.

Radio journalist Alaa Alawadi spoke to SBS Arabic24 about Mr. Elsemawi's music contribution.
