After the success of the experiment ... work is underway to include a female voice for the Arab commentary team and channeling the experience to the TV!


Sport is one of the most important tools of integration in any society. It is able to attract newcomers to what is unique to their new society. To this end, The Australian Footy Association launched an initiative to provide live matches commentary in different languages, including Arabic.

On this subject, we are talking to a member of the Arab Radio Comment Team Ahmed Ibrahim, who noted that the success of the sports Arabic commentary experience on the Footy prompted officials to present the experience in other languages, such as Italian and Dinka. Ahmed talked about new ideas for the next season such as to train women to participate in the Arab team and transfer this experience to television screens!
