Federal government pledge for school budget spending

The federal government has pledged an extra one-point-two ($1.2) billion (dollars) to schools in next Tuesday's budget. Prime minister Malcolm Turnbull says the funding boost will help ensure children don't fall between the cracks .. but the opposition and unions say it's a far cry from the money being offered by Labor.
