Labor MP Emma Husar says she will quit politics at the next federal election as an investigation into bullying and harassment claims by her staff nears its end.

Lawyer John Whelan's report is due to be handed to New South Wales Labor by Friday ((aug 10)) after he investigated complaints from 22 members of Ms Husar's former staff.

The allegations include that she bullied and sexually harassed her electorate-office employees and diverted Labor funds into her personal bank account.

Ms Husar has denied any wrongdoing.

But she has told Channel Nine she no longer thinks she could hold the Sydney seat of Lindsay.
