The Australian Syrian Association is working together with the Islamic Council of Victoria, Care with Me, and AMES to provide a supportive environment for the Syrian refugees who will be arriving to the State of Victoria. It has been revealed that a significant number of the refugees will be unaccompanied orphans and widows escaping the conflict in Syria. Dr Said Ajlouni, ASA, tells us more about the current preparations especially working towards providing foster care for those women and children.
