Settlement Services International (SSI) provides opportunities for refugees coming to Australia to establish their own businesses through Ignite project.

The program facilitates small businesses creation for those who wish to start their own business or expand their existing business.

SSI points out that the statistics show that the refugees have strong entrepreneurial qualities and a large percentage of refugees are interested in small and medium-sized businesses compared to the Australian population.

Ignite Small Business Start-up is the first small business start-up program in Australia to focus on the future of refugees.

This program is based on Sirolli enterprise facilitation model.Mr. Rassul Zahrouni fled persecution from Iran and came to Australia in 2013.

Maram Ismail interviewed Mr. Zahroni and asked him first how Ignite helped him establish his small business?
