Lebanon did not go through a new war like other neighbouring countries because no party wants it, says the Leader of the Lebanese Forces Dr Samir Geagea in his first formal statements since he arrived in Australia late last week. Dr Geagea was speaking at a dinner organised by the Lebanese Forces in Sydney and attended by around 1500 people, including NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, Opposition Leader Luke Foley, MP Jason Clare representing the Federal Opposition Leader Bill Shorten and Member of the NSW Legislative Council David Clarke.
