How does family violence affect the child's world?

Exposure to domestic violence affects children's personality and self-confidence and the world around them, resulting in a set of negative consequences.


A recent set of research suggests that children exposed to violence at home may suffer from a range of emotional problems that ultimately weaken their long-term growth.

Children living with domestic violence grow up in an unpredictable environment, dominated by tension, anxiety and fear, affecting what they learn and, more importantly, how they interact with others and control their feelings.
