As a scratch or a wound starts to heal, it begins to itch, while it's tempting to have a bit of a scratch or pick at the scab at this point: don't interrupting the healing the process. If the wound starts bleeding again, you're back to square one, the best thing you can do is moisturise the area and keep it clean.
