2017 was a good year to be in the market for a role with more job opportunities being advertised this year compared to last year in 28 of the 29 industries.
According to SEEK Australia & New Zealand Mining, resources and energy was the fastest growing industry with 54% more jobs being advertised on 2017 compared to 2016.
With a 40% increase since the same time last year, the Consulting and strategy sector takes out the number two position for the fastest growing industry followed by Trades and services at 27%.
