Liberal party future discussed as the crisis goes on

Current and former liberal candidate discuss the future of the party as party’s senior members change loyalties


With a party room meeting expected, the future of leadership in liberal party, and potentially the whole country is still uncertain.

Toni Eissa the liberal candidate for Grenfell spoke to “Good morning Australia” on SBS Arabic24 and said that Malcom Turnbull threatening to quite parliament if he loses is selfish. This would mean losing majority for his party and effectively going to snap elections.

Former liberal party candidate Michel Hawat said that the whole crisis is being driven by personal motives. He said that the party leaders is destroying themselves and risking great loss in elections.
