Bee Al Darraj was eight years old when she watched her 13-year-old sister get married. Bee was born in Saudi Arabia to Iraqi parents. The family moved to Australia in 1995, settling in Western Sydney. She has five sisters and four brothers, though she expects she may never see most of them again.
