There was a time in the 80s and 90s when Mohammad al-Helou was amongst the most famous Arab singers . He sold out concerts, and sang for the opening credit of big budgeted TV shows such as Layaly El-Hilmiya. He was equal of Mohammad Mounir , Hani Shaker and Ali Al- Hajjar. Today, Mohammad Al-Helou is sort of a has been. He disappeared many years ago for unknown reasons .
Luckily for the lovers of Arabic music he staged a strong comeback last month , when he participated in the events of the Arab Music Festival in Cairo.
