A vigil has been held in Darwin to remember four people killed in a shooting on Tuesday.

The community is mourning the deaths of the victims, including taxi driver Hassan Baydoun.

The alleged gunman, Benjamin Hoffman, is expected to face court today charged with murder, recklessly endangering serious harm and criminal damage.

Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner says the people of Darwin stick together in the face of tragedy.
