A UN investigation finds 'credible evidence' a Saudi Prince is liable for Jamal Khashoggi's murder.

The federal government is expected to try to repeal the so called "medevac laws" when parliament resumes.

It comes after the Federal Court ruled a refugee or asylum seeker in offshore detention with a condition eligible for a medical transfer to Australia, could be assessed remotely by a doctor.

The ruling rejects the Coalition's argument the medical assessment has to be done in person by medical staff.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton says the Federal Court decision poses a risk to Australia's secure borders and is calling on Labor to vote to remove the bill.

The government is also considering appealing the court's decision.
