The former head of Australian Border Force demands Peter Dutton withdraw comments made about him in parliament.

Former Border Force boss Roman Quaedvlieg has demanded Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton to withdraw comments he made under parliamentary privillege.

Mr Dutton told parliament yesterday that Mr Quaedvlieg "groomed" a younger woman who became his girlfriend.

Mr Quaedvlieg has released a statement, calling on Mr Dutton to withdraw the "disgusting and offensive" comment which he says is an accusation of a criminal sexual offence.

It comes as a Senate committee investigates Mr Dutton's decision to personally intervene to stop the deportation of an Italian nanny in 2015, after his office was contacted by a former Queensland police colleague.

The committee will deliver its report next week, with Labor and the Greens talking to coalition M-Ps about the possibility of a no confidence motion in Mr Dutton.
