Nauru refugee wins power lifting competition

Abdullah Khodor is one of the asylum seekers and refugees who are still living in an Immigration detention centre on the island of Nauru. He says going to the gym and doing body building and power-lift training helped him staying focused and taught him to become patient.


Abdullah who won two medals in two different competitions in weight lifting says he is looking forward to leaving Nauru and going to a different country soon where he can follow his dream to become a world champion in power lifting.
