Former Prime Minister, Tony Abbott says he was the victim of politically motivated violence after being assaulted by a same-sex marriage advocate in Hobart.
Mr Abbott revealed on Thursday evening he was headbutted and sustained a swollen lip. Speaking on 3-A-W, Mr Abbott says the assault is a clear example of how 'ugly' the same-sex marriage debate is becoming.
