The federal government has announced (mon) a 110-million dollar package to fight anxiety and depression among young people.


The federal government has announced (mon) a 110-million dollar package to fight anxiety and depression among young people.

The package includes a 46-million dollar boost for beyondblue's education drive.

Other organisations to benefit from funding increases include Emerging Minds, headspace, ReachOut, Kids Helpline and Orygen.

Deputy Nationals leader Bridget McKenzie says the extra funding reflects the government's commitment to good mental health for Australia's youth.
