North Sydney smoking ban proposal could spread to other councils

North Sydney council will vote soon to ban smoking at its public areas including parks and streets in an attempt to create a CBD-wide smoking free zone. Marrickville Councillor, Sleiman Eskandar told SBS Arabic24 about the likelihood of adopting a similar approach to North Sydney, in light of the efforts deployed by Marrickville Councillors and key figures in the area to combat the negative impact of secondhand smoking.
