Palestinian community activists along with head of the Palestinian delegation in Australia, Mr. Izzat Abdul Hadi, gathered to plan and establish a number of projects that can provide various social services and possibly commercial links to the Palestinian community in Australia and abroad.Some of these projects are a community data base, pan community website listing all the community groups and activities in Australia and to start an Australian Palestinian chamber of commerce.
Palestinian activist from Palestinian Community Coordination Committee Dr George Hatoum says that the main reason behind establishing this chamber is to support Businessmen and women in their community.
The first meeting of the Australian-Palestinian Chamber of Commerce will take place on Thursday 11 May 2017.
