One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says she doesn't believe the Port Arthur massacre was a government conspiracy.

An undercover operation by broadcaster Al Jazeera has recorded Senator Hanson telling reporter Rodger Muller there are "a lot of questions to be answered" about the 1996 massacre, in which Martin Bryant shot dead 35 people.

But Senator Hanson says her comments were heavily edited by Al Jazeera. She's told Sky News she believes Martin Bryant did commit the massacre.
