Pauline Hanson's comments worry anti-discrimination head and multicultural leaders

Queensland senator-elect Pauline Hanson is continuing to stir controversy with comments that Australia's Race Discrimination Commissioner warns could incite discrimination. Dr Tim Soutphommasane says Ms Hanson could be setting a dangerous precedent for the nation.


Likewise, Chief Operations Officer at the Australian Muslim Women Centre for Human Rights, Dr Dalal Smiley said that it is important to counter such statments with facts - based arguments to ensure that harmony, equal rights and multiculturalism continue to exist in the Australian soicety.
