The NSW Liberal president and mayor of Hornsby Shire said that Liberals have a unified team after the challenge. He added that all members have committed to give the new team their full support.
The veteran liberal politician said that any polls right after the spills would have the same results. But he is more interested in the polls in three or six months. Ruddock said that Labor is not suitable to govern Australia.
Ruddock commented on Malcom Turnbull decision to resign from Parliament which threaten the on seat majority of the Liberals. He said Australia doesn’t respond well to former prime ministers in parliament.
