Prime Minister Scott Morrison will visit key marginal seats in Queensland this week, in an effort to sure up support ahead of the looming federal election.
Mr Morrison will visit the Gold Coast today, where he is expected to announce federal government funding for the next stage of the Gold Coast's light rail network.
It comes after he announced a multi-million dollar pipeline to secure Townsville's water supply yesterday.
Mr Morrison's tour of the Queensland comes ahead of the federal election, which is due by May.
