Iraqi refugee Shatha Matrood is in her late thirties and has been in Australia for eight years. In that time, she has learnt English and braille and has secured a guide dog. She's now building a business as a life coach with the support SSIs Ignite Small Business Start-ups.Funded by SSI, the Ignite Small Business Start-ups initiative facilitates business creation for people from refugee backgrounds who are keen to establish a small business or expand an existing one.
