South Sudanese government accused of profiteering

A human rights group has accused top officials in South Sudan, including the President, of profiteering from the nation's civil war. A two-year investigation has allegedly uncovered evidence that some high-ranking officials have amassed fortunes during the continuing conflict through questionable business deals and large payments from corporations. Dr Burhan Ahmed from the African Think Tank says he is not surprised if some of the money has reached Australia as money has been transfered outside South Sudan.
