Syrian Refugee story to be highlighted in Melbourne event

Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) in partnership with the City of Whittlesea is hosting a Refugee Week Event on June 20th, at Epping Memorial Hall, to celebrate the positive contributions made by refugees in Whittlesea.

One of the main speakers of the event will be Abdulkader Zeino, a Syrian businessman

who arrived in Australia three years ago. In these three years, Abdulkader has managed to

learn English, has expanded his skill set and has created meaningful friendships through

WCC's Syrian Group.
