The Great Barrier Reef stretches over 348000 square km, with more than 400 types of corals, 1500 types of fishes and thousands of other smaller sea creatures.
In addition, there are around 900 islands, some of them are small stretches of sand, while others are tropical and large.
This most wonderful natural beauty is, however, threatened with the bleaching phenomenon due to industrial and mining pollution.
This phenomenon is eroding the big variety of colour, and this natural beauty has started to look dimly whitish.
