The growing problem of inequality in Australia

A recent report by the Australian Council for Social Services, in collaboration with NSW University, revealed a widening income gap between Australians, with inequality in wages and incomes becoming a serious economic and social problem.


According to the report, One per cent of Australians earns more than $ 11,000 in two weeks, while others earn 430 in the same period.

We speak to social activist Qassim Abboud, who spoke first about the latest figures and called for government intervention to address this growing problem
