The city of Melbourne on Wednesday saw a labor demonstration described as the largest in the city's history over the past few decades, with 60,000 members and supporters of various unions in the state expected to attend.

All the main streets were closed in the CBD and public transport was disrupted for three hours as participants took their banners demanding law and labor reforms. The demonstration ended in front of The Magistrate Court where Union leaders delivered speeches calling on the government to meet the demands of participants

From the heart of the demonstration, Hana Yassin met with Jamal Babeker, a member of the United Voice union representing cleaners in Victoria.
