The Pension..a right or false entitelment?

Senator David Leyonhjelm (lion-helm) says Australians have a "sense of entitlement" about receiving pension payments. Changes to the Pension Assets test came into effect on the first of January. The federal government says more than 160,000 people should get an increase in pension payments under the changes. However 88,000 partial pensioners could lose payments altogether and more than 200,000 face reduced payments. Senator Leyonhjelm has told the ABC the pension should be restricted to those who need it most.
