With horseracing's Spring Racing Carnival underway, attention has turned to Melbourne's Flemington track as the new crop of horses and trainers prepare to perform.And while some of those trainers were born into the industry, it has been a tough road to the track for Saab Hasan. (huh-SAHN)After escaping Turkish-controlled northern Cyprus in the 1970s, Mr Hasan sought out the profession even though he had never touched a horse.
