In a city at war, five young people count down the days before a boat leaves for Europe. Who will leave, who will stay, and what will their choices cost them?

THEM is a new play by Samah Sabawi, writer of the award-winning Tales of a City by the Sea, directed by Bagryana Popov. Based on interviews with people displaced by war, THEM brings audiences into the homes of people before they become refugees, as they face the decision whether or not to flee.

From May 29 until June 9 THEM will be staged at La Mama Courthouse in Melbourne.
